About the course
In the Certified Phlebotomy Technician program, students gain practical skills in drawing blood with precision and care. From learning the art of selecting the right vein to mastering the gentle insertion of the needle, our students become competent in obtaining blood samples. At Latitude Training Center, we provide a comprehensive education that prepares our students to perform skin punctures or venipunctures confidently in various medical settings. Our program emphasizes safety and compliance with OSHA and the National Lab Institute, covering essential topics such as infection control, HIPAA, and proper tube labeling. With a total duration of 150 hours, Including focused theoretical learning and hands-on clinical instruction, our students gain knowledge and practical experience.
